1. Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines

I loved this series!! Fallen Too Far follows a young woman named Blaire who has just lost her mother. She must travel to Rosemary Beach, a place so foreign to her that she feels like she stands out like a sore thumb, and learn to live with  her new stepbrother Rush who is much more that just meets the eye. This is a perfect summer read since it takes place during the summer and has all the aspects of a contemporary romance with a twist!

2. Safe Haven by Nicolas Sparks

It isn’t really summer if you don’t read a Nick Sparks book! Safe Haven follows a young woman Katie who travels to a small town named Southport in North Carolina. Her arrival sparks the interest of a widowed father named Alex. As she tries to settle down and the people around her grow on her dark secrets of her past start to bob to the surface. It has an air of suspense, a great deal of love, and is a fantastic read!

3. Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

I usually like my summer reads to include a bit of action and fantasy and Six of Crows has all that jam packed into it! The story follows a set of skilled individuals as they take of the task of carrying out the perfect heist. I don’t want to give anymore away since it is better to go into this book blind!

4. Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

Good girl Abby Abernathy doesn’t walk the top of the fence between good and bad, she stays fully on the good side. Now that is. That just about flies out the window as she is introduced to bad boy Travis Maddox who has an interesting proposition for her. Little does this bad boy know that he’s met the perfect match. This is a great new adult romance to dive into over the summer!

5. The Forbidden Game by L.J. Smith

Fantasy and romance… perfect! This book was such a delight to read and it’s the perfect summer read. The Forbidden Game follows a young girl named Jenny and her friends as the Prince of Shadows drags them all into his mind-toying game. This book has some romance, mystery, and action!

I hope you enjoyed this weeks #T5W and please let me know in the comments what your favorite summer reads are and if you’ve read any of the books listed above! Also, what are some other posts you’d like to see on my blog? I hope that you all have an amazing rest of the week and thanks for reading!

  1. I’ve read Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster a long time ago. I remember liking Walking Disaster cause it was in the point of view of Travis. 😊
